Us, that’s Lawrance, Magda and Wea-Ry-Tired (or WRT). The first one is retired, the second one stopped working a couple of years ago, so the third one does most of the work.
Lawrance came all the way from Scotland, Magda left a gorgeous house behind in Holland (after over 18 months of decluttering), and WRT was (temporary) at Overwater Marina.
From September 2014 on you can find the three of us somewhere on a canal in England.
Now We’re Retired is all about how we cope with the change of country, no longer working and living in a completely different kind of home.
Repaint 2016 is WRT’s story about her repaint by Willow Boat Painting in Swanley Bridge Marina.
In How we retired you can read how Magda managed to get from a 216.5 m² big house (with 3 bedrooms, a full basement and a garage for 3 cars) to a 29.78 m² small living space on WRT (and become a UK citizen).
Holidays 2014 is when Wea-Ry-Tired enters the story. It describes our first experiences with her, cruising her to our home moorings.
Holidays 2013 tells about being on a narrowboat for the first time.
And yes, we know, there is another narrowboat called Wea-Ry-Tired. But it is easy to see the difference (unless you’re colour blind). We’re red and green; the other Wea-Ry-Tired is red, grey and black.
When you do see the other one, give Andy, Christine and William our regards…!
